
AEIL3S Three Stage Multishear Inline Mixer
For Ultra-Fine Emulsions and Dispersions

The Multishear inline mixer builds upon our single-stage design, featuring three sets of multi-castellated heads. This unique configuration delivers an exceptionally intense high shear mixing action, ideal for achieving sub-micron emulsions and ultra-fine particle sizes.
Unlike batch systems, AE Mixers’ in-line processors operate independently of the medium volume and require minimal space. They are also significantly easier to clean and are capable of handling highly viscous media, especially when paired with a supplementary feed pump.
The exceptional performance of these machines is attributed to our precision-designed dispersion heads. Each head features three sets of concentric stainless steel rings with precisely machined perforations or slots. The outer rings (stators) remain stationary, while the inner rings (rotors) rotate at high speeds, generating powerful centrifugal forces that draw material into the chamber. The material is then forced through progressively finer gaps between the rotors and stators, achieving superior results as it passes through the three-stage arrangement.
For even finer results, the Multishear can be integrated into recirculation systems, in addition to its efficient single-pass capability.

Four interchangeable rotor/stator cutter options are available as standard which would cover most requirements. Any combination of these can be fitted, allowing the machine to process a wide range of products effectively. Special purpose designs can also be produced to cover particular problems.

Notes: Purpose-designed machines and larger models can be manufactured to suit customer requirements. Should it be necessary to use a pump to assist flow, we would recommend a positive displacement pump i.e rotary lobe or progressive cavity.
